Plan A Logistics Efficiency & Optimization Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analysing, and improving business processes, operational workflows, systems, and procedures within a third-party logistics environment. The role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing costs, increasing productivity, and supporting continuous improvement across warehousing, transport, inventory management, customer service, and administration functions.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Analyses and evaluates current systems and structures
- Discusses current systems with staff and observes systems at all levels of the organisation
- Directs clients towards more efficient organisation and develops solutions to organisational problems
- Undertakes and reviews work studies by analysing existing and proposed methods and procedures such as administrative and clerical procedures
- Records and analyses organisations' work flow charts, records, reports, manuals and job descriptions
- Prepares and recommends proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter work flows, redefine job functions and resolve organisational problems
- Assists in implementing approved recommendations, issues revised instructions and procedure manuals, and drafts other documentation
- Reviews operating procedures and advises of departures from procedures and standards
- Ability to work with multiple departments and stakeholders
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of continuous improvement principles
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with WMS, TMS, ERP, or logistics software is desirable
Qualification & Experience
- Relevant qualification at the level of a Bachelor’s degree or higher, OR at least 5 years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, transport, or 3PL operations is highly regarded
- Experience in process improvement, operations analysis, or business systems analysis is desirable
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements within a logistics environment
