My Australia Direct Pty Ltd is currently accepting applications on behalf of our client, The Darley Group, for the position of Electrician in The Greater Sydney Area NSW. The Darley Group provides quality tradesmen, licensed electricians, trade assistants and labourers for commercial needs in the construction industry.
Duties will include:
- Interpretation of electrical diagrams and schematics
- Power and lighting installations
- Control system faultfinding
- Reading drawings
- Installation of cable tray and ladder rack
- Installation of mains power and lighting
- Glanding and terminating
- Installation of CAT 6 and fibre optic cables
- Terminating CAT 6 data cables
- Testing and commissioning
- Supervision of less experienced electricians in the team
- Follow all health and safety requirements to ensure the job is completed safely
Requirements:
- At least 3 years relevant experience as an Electrician
- Relevant trade qualification preferred
- Cabling experience
- Previous experience with rigorous quality assurance procedures and testing
