is a contracting company based in Lake Macquarie and is currently seeking an experienced and reliable full time Tradesman Plumber to join our team, carrying out plumbing maintenance and project works on an industrial site.
SNK Group
The position will involve a mix of scheduled and reactive maintenance, fault finding, repairs, installations and project works across site plumbing and water infrastructure.
The successful applicant will work within site permit, isolation and safety systems while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Key duties include
- Carrying out scheduled and reactive plumbing maintenance and repairs.
- Maintaining and repairing site pipework and water infrastructure.
- Installing, repairing and modifying copper, HDPE and other pipework systems as required.
- Fault finding and responding to breakdowns and service issues.
- Assisting with planned project works, upgrades and new installations.
- Working safely around industrial plant, pressurised pipework and other site services.
- Completing required pre-starts, permits, One Safe documentation and other site compliance records.
- Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas to a high standard.
- Working effectively with supervisors, other trades and site personnel.
About You
We are looking for someone who is practical, safety focused and comfortable working independently in an industrial environment.
Ideally you will have
- Current plumbing trade qualifications and applicable NSW plumbing licence.
- Experience in maintenance plumbing, preferably within an industrial environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Current White Card and driver licence.
- Confined space, working at heights and HDPE/electrofusion experience or tickets would be advantageous.
- Current Order 43 Medical or consent to undergo a pre-employment Medical
