We currently have a position available for a Postie. The position is for 35 hours per week, Monday through to Friday with no weekends or public holidays. Early mornings are required with a 5:30am start at the Australia Post Mail Centre in Bungalow, before heading out to deliver on the postie bike.
A MOTORCYCLE LICENCE IS A MUST, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE.
The job:
- Delivering mail to customers using a motorcycle supplied by us
- Meeting all conduct, diligence and efficiency requirements
- A current unrestricted Queensland motorcycle licence
We are looking for someone long term, so unfortunately we cannot offer this job to working holiday or student visas. Training is provided.

- Friendly, courteous and of neat appearance. Posties are in daily contact with customers and are therefore a reflection of Australia Post within the community.
- Possess sound communication and interpersonal skills as you will be in constant contact with customers.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Occupational Health and Safety standards.
- Must be trustworthy and reliable.
- Successful applicant must also be able to pass a police check and security clearance.
- We work in the rain, hail or shine so we are needing someone who is not afraid to work in all sorts of weather and who isn't afraid of dogs.
