Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments
- Sort freight in accordance with warehouse procedures.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (licensed)
- Work Experience and Skills
- Minimum
5+ years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Valid
Forklift Licence (essential).
- Proven experience in sortation, loading and unloading trucks.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and inventory control.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Process-driven mindset with the ability to follow structured procedures.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
- Respectful and collaborative and be able to work both in teams or individually.
- A quick learner with a willingness to learn
Hours are 3:30pm till 8:30pm Monday to Friday. This role is based in Port Melbourne.
