About the role:

Join a collaborative digital product squad where you'll help solve meaningful customer and business challenges through evidence-based problem solving and discovery. Working closely with Product, Design, Engineering and stakeholders, you'll uncover customer needs, shape solutions and translate insights into clear, prioritised outcomes that deliver value. This is an opportunity to influence digital experiences, support product discovery and contribute to customer-centred innovation within a highly collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with Product, Design, Engineering and stakeholders to understand customer and business problems, desired outcomes and success measures.
  • Lead discovery activities including data analysis, process mapping and journey mapping.
  • Support others in their research and assumption testing.
  • Document, raise and discuss hypotheses to ensure a common understanding across your team around known requirements, assumptions and risks.
  • Synthesise customer, business and data insights to identify needs, opportunities, constraints and root causes.
  • Translate discovery outcomes into epics, user stories, business rules and well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement and help teams make informed decisions around priorities, dependencies, risks and trade-offs.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI and Engineering teams to support customer journeys, prototyping, usability testing and solution delivery.

Skills and experience:

  • Strong business analysis experience within Agile digital product environments.
  • Experience through the end to end software delivery lifecycle: product discovery, definition, delivery and benefits realisation.
  • Strong journey mapping, process mapping, story mapping and requirements analysis capabilities.
  • The ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform recommendations and decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and communication skills across business and technical teams.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and Figma.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics or a related discipline is preferable.
  • Relevant Business Analysis certifications.

What’s in it for you?

  • Smart Leave, an additional week of leave each year.
  • Free lunch every week.
  • Up to 20 weeks Paid Parental Leave with superannuation contributions and a Return-to-Work Bonus.
  • Make a Difference Days – paid days off to volunteer for the community and environment.
  • Salary packaging and novated leasing benefits.
  • Free flu vaccinations.
  • Employee Share Plan.
