Smarter Air is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service & Installation Technician to join our team in Loganholme, Queensland. As a residential specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert installation, maintenance and repair services for a range of air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This is a full-time role with competitive remuneration and excellent opportunities for career advancement.
What you'll be doing:
- Installing, commissioning, and replacing residential HVAC systems, including ducted and split system equipment
- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance on residential HVAC systems
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in air conditioning ducted and split system equipment
- Fitting and connecting refrigeration pipework, ducting, plenums, electrical controls, and drainage
- Providing exceptional customer service and educating clients on the proper use and care of their HVAC systems
- Maintaining accurate records of all work completed, site measurements, and parts used
- Adhering to all relevant safety standards, environmental regulations, and ARC guidelines
- Supporting the broader team with ad-hoc tasks as required
What we're looking for:
- Formal qualifications in HVAC installation, maintenance and repair (e.g. Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration)
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a residential HVAC technician
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
