Sleep and Lung Care is a large respiratory and sleep specialist clinic in Epping, Kilmore, Brunswick, Doncaster, and Braybrook, Vic. The successful applicant will be working in all the clinic locations. The job is for a casual position with an opportunity to be offered full time in the future based on business demand and applicant competency.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification in health science or applied science or human physiology is essential.
- Experience is not required but preferred. We are happy to provide training to the successful candidate.
About the Role:
You will be required to perform:
- Spirometry and flow volume loops;
- Bronchial provocation tests (mannitol);
- Maximal inspiratory and expiratory pressures (MIPs and MEPs);
- 6 minute walk test;
- Accurate reports on the above tests;
You will be required to perform duties relating to the running and maintenance of the lab and its equipment including:
- Quality control;
- Infection control, and maintenance of safety standards;
