Sky Podiatry is a Tasmanian healthcare business with two Launceston clinics, our own orthotics laboratory, Lab Twenty-Six, and podiatry services delivered across residential aged care and the community. We're proud of what we've built, but we're not finished. We believe in genuine human connections, exceptional customer experiences and being willing to try something a little left field when there's a better way.

The role involves taking responsibility for the day-to-day operations and performance of our two Launceston clinics, working closely with our leadership team. We're looking for someone who's comfortable getting involved, whether that's jumping on the phones, supporting a clinician through a challenging situation or finding a better way to do something. A big part of this role will be building a gold-standard reception and administration experience, supported by a living operating system that makes training, onboarding and delivering great patient care second nature.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing our reception, administration and clinical teams
  • Managing clinic performance, appointment utilisation and operational KPIs
  • Building and maintaining our Sky reception playbook, training and onboarding systems
  • Supporting clinicians with workflows, performance and day-to-day operational challenges
  • Coordinating our residential aged care and community services
  • Improving the patient experience and finding better ways to work
  • Building accountability and consistency across both clinics

You’ll have the support of our leadership team, but the autonomy to make decisions and put improvements into practice.

About you: You’ve ideally managed a busy healthcare practice, whether that's dental, medical, allied health or something similar. You understand the realities of running a clinic because you've been there and done the work. You’re comfortable leading people, making decisions and having honest conversations. You care about the details, but you also know when to step back and let your team do their jobs. Most importantly, you’re someone who enjoys making things better.

We’d love to hear yours, including what you've helped build, the challenges you've worked through and what you're looking for next. If this sounds like the kind of place you'd enjoy being part of, we’d love to meet you.
