We are currently recruiting for experienced forklift operators who are highly motivated and enthusiastic. The role will see you enjoy a wide variety of tasks.
Extensive on the job training will be provided to enable you to perform these integral roles.
- Tasks & responsibilities
- Manoeuvring forklifts into position for loading and unloading products.
- Operating the forklift safely and following all occupational, health and safety rules.
- Maintaining documentation, including logs, timesheets and records of any safety incidents.
- Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution
of weight. - Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
- Inspecting the forklifts regularly to prevent any safety issues.
- Checking loading documents, condition of goods and obtaining receipts of deliveries.
- Ensuring load is safely secured throughout the trip.
- Key attributes
- Previous experience in these fields will be highly regarded
- Good communication skills which will enable you to liaise with managers, supervisors and other crew members.
- Strong attention to details and show pride in your work.
- Be flexible with working hours over 7 days/nights.
- Hard working and highly reliable.

This is a full-time position with salary range $65,835-$75,000pa + superannuation determined by experience.
