SK Corporation is the powerhouse behind some of Melbourne’s fastest-growing hospitality brands: Burgertory, Souvlaki GR and F.A.T Fried & Tasty. We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Creator who lives and breathes social media and knows how to turn great food, strong brands and everyday moments into content people actually want to stop scrolling for.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be sitting behind a desk waiting for someone to tell you what to post. You’ll be out in our restaurants, behind the scenes at launches, capturing products, working with our teams, jumping on trends, coordinating creators and building content that gives each of our brands its own unmistakable personality online. You’ll have the freedom to bring ideas to the table, experiment, move quickly and genuinely influence how three growing hospitality brands show up across social media.
What you’ll do:
- Own the day-to-day social presence of Burgertory, Souvlaki GR and F.A.T Fried & Tasty across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Develop monthly content calendars and strategies tailored to each brand’s voice, audience and personality.
- Concept, film, photograph, edit and publish engaging social-first content across food, products, restaurants, people and culture.
- Create high-performing short-form video and recurring content series for TikTok and Instagram.
- Identify trends, sounds, memes and cultural moments and creatively bring our brands into the conversation.
- Capture content across our restaurant network, including launches, new products, behind-the-scenes and team content.
- Work closely with marketing and operations to bring campaigns, launches and brand initiatives to life.
- Manage creator, influencer and UGC relationships, from outreach and briefs through to deliverables and usage rights.
- Manage community engagement across comments, messages and conversations in each brand’s authentic voice.
- Develop LinkedIn content showcasing brand growth, franchise networks, leadership, people and culture.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of ready-to-publish content to keep each brand consistently active.
- Monitor social and creator performance, turning insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proactively bring fresh ideas, concepts and opportunities to the team.
What we’re looking for:
- You understand that great social media content doesn’t need to feel like advertising.
- You know how to capture attention in the first few seconds, understand why some videos take off while others don’t, and can recognise the difference between content that looks polished and content that actually performs.
- You’ll ideally bring strong experience managing social media and creating content for consumer-facing brands.
- Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Confident short-form video skills from concept through to filming and editing.
- Strong photography and visual content instincts.
- Experience using editing platforms such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva or similar.
- A strong understanding of trends, hooks, storytelling and platform behaviour.
- Experience working with influencers, creators or UGC.
- Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone of voice between different brands.
- Confidence interpreting social analytics and using data to improve content.
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple brands and content calendars simultaneously.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- A proactive personality: you see an opportunity for content and make it happen.
- A genuine interest in food, hospitality, pop culture and social media.
- Experience within hospitality, QSR, food, retail, lifestyle or entertainment brands will be highly regarded.
Build three brands, not just one:
You’ll have the opportunity to work across three completely different hospitality brands, each with its own personality, customer base and creative direction. One day you might be creating bold burger content for Burgertory, the next capturing Greek street food for Souvlaki GR, then developing something completely different for F.A.T Fried & Tasty. It’s the kind of role that can build an incredible creative portfolio very quickly.
Real creative ownership:
We don’t want someone who simply waits for a monthly list of posts. We want someone who brings ideas. If you spot a trend at 10am and think one of our brands should be on it, we want you thinking about how we can have it live that afternoon. You’ll have genuine input into how our brands look, sound and behave online. You’ll have access to restaurants, new product launches, food shoots, franchise partners, team members, campaigns, events and plenty of behind-the-scenes moments. There will never be a shortage of things to create.
Be part of a growing hospitality group:
SK Corporation operates and supports an expanding network of restaurants and franchise partners. As the brands continue to grow, so will the opportunities within the marketing team. This is an opportunity to come into the business, make the role your own and become a major part of how our brands grow online.
We value ideas over hierarchy:
A great idea can come from anyone. You’ll work closely with decision-makers and have the ability to pitch concepts, test ideas and see them come to life without layers of unnecessary red tape.
The person we’ll love:
You’re probably the type of person who:
- Saves content ideas when you see them.
- Notices a TikTok trend before your friends do.
- Has strong opinions about why one Reel performed better than another.
- Can make a burger look ridiculously good on camera.
- Isn’t afraid to walk into a restaurant and direct people for a piece of content.
- Gets genuinely excited when content performs.
Most importantly, you’re creative, commercially minded and hungry to build something. If you want a role where you can create, experiment, build brands and actually see the impact of your work, we’d love to hear from you. Send us your CV along with examples of content you’ve created, social accounts you’ve managed or a portfolio that shows us what you can do. Bonus points if you send us one idea you’d create for Burgertory, Souvlaki GR or F.A.T Fried & Tasty.
