What you’ll be doing:

Gain real, hands-on experience, receive top-tier on-the-job training, and best of all — walk away with a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills to launch your career in style! This is a 2-year contract with a possibility for a full-time role at the end!
In this position, you will:
- Collect samples from designated collection points within the premises
- Unpack, sort, label and register samples accurately
- Prepare samples for analysis following laboratory procedures and work instructions
- Conduct routine analysis using a range of laboratory instrumentation
- Correlate and record analytical data
- Complete competency-based laboratory studies and training activities
- Prepare laboratory standards and reagents
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation
- Perform housekeeping and routine laboratory equipment maintenance
- Maintain sample traceability and ensure accurate laboratory records
- Display care in the use of company instrumentation, tools, and property
- Contribute to a safe, clean and efficient laboratory environment

You will bring:
- Hold a year 12 certificate
- Willingness to learn
- Interest in pursuing a career in a laboratory environment
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (we are unable to accept applications from candidates who are temporary residents)
