Silverstrand is seeking 2 x HSEQ Advisors to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.
DIDO - project from Brisbane to a large infrastructure project 4 hours west of Brisbane. 2/1 Roster - Camp, Meals, Bus provided. Local SEQ - Local infrastructure projects - Bridges, WWTPs, Roads, Rail, etc.
About the role:
- Reporting to the HSEQ Lead, your duties will include:
- Ensuring construction sites comply with all current legislation and codes of practice
- Training and mentoring the project team
- Preparation of SWMS and JHA's
- Conducting risk assessments for projects and company
- Experienced in AS/NZS 4801:2001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems
- Completion of onsite audits and inspections
- Organising site safety meetings
- Preparation of reports for management
- Systems Administration of HSEQ Software
Essential Skills and Experience:
- 3 years’ experience in the Construction Health and Safety Sector
- Experience with Lucidity - highly regarded
- Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety (minimum)
- Current First aid certificate
- Current drivers licence
- Knowledge of current HSE legislation, acts, code of practice and regulations
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
- Positive attitude and approachable demeanor
