About us:
Silvaside Biltong brings a 25-year South African family recipe to Melbourne, serving premium biltong and charcuterie across our kiosks. Our Fountain Gate kiosk is part of a growing network of locations across Melbourne's Westfield centres.
The role:
We're looking for a friendly, reliable team member to join our Fountain Gate kiosk. You'll be the face of Silvaside, sharing our story with customers, serving up great product, and keeping the kiosk running smoothly during trading hours.
What you'll do:
Greet and serve customers, sharing knowledge of our biltong and charcuterie range
Operate the POS system and handle cash/card transactions
Maintain stock levels, replenishment, and product presentation
Keep the kiosk clean, tidy, and looking its best
Follow food handling, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
Support promotions, tastings, and customer engagement initiatives
What we're looking for:
A positive, customer-first attitude
Reliability and punctuality
Comfortable working weekends and some evening trade
Previous retail or hospitality experience is a plus, but not essential - we'll train you
Ability to work as part of a small, close-knit team
