Signarama North Lakes is seeking a Sign Writer and Installer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your craftsmanship and technical expertise will directly contribute to creating eye-catching signage solutions for our diverse clientele. Based in North Lakes, QLD 4509, this casual (ideally full time) position offers flexibility whilst allowing you to showcase your talents in signage creation and installation. You will play a crucial role in transforming our clients' visions into reality through high-quality sign writing and professional installation services.
Key responsibilities
- Create signage at the workshop, including partial wraps of vehicles
- Install signage on client premises, ensuring precise alignment, durability and professional finish
- Operate equipment including vinyl cutters and digital printing
- Prepare surfaces through cleaning, priming and other preparatory techniques to ensure optimal adhesion and longevity
- Measure and calculate sizing requirements for bespoke signage projects
- Maintain high standards of quality throughout production and installation
- Liaise with clients
- Ensure all work is completed safely, on time and within time
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Sign Writer and Installer within the signage industry, including at least some vehicle signage
- Competence with sign writing equipment and installation techniques
- Knowledge of various surface preparation and installation methods
- Excellent attention to detail
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights where necessary - ideally with a licence to work at heights
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude with a commitment to health and safety standards
- Valid driver's licence and own transport
