Shred-X is looking for safety-focused and customer-oriented MR and HR Drivers to join our team in Laverton North, Melbourne.
As part of the Freightways Group, one of Australasia's leading logistics and information management companies, Shred-X is a national leader in secure document destruction, product disposal, and recycling services.
We're seeking motivated team members who thrives on independence, takes pride in their work, and plays a key role in delivering top-tier customer service.
What You'll Do
- Service a diverse client base across various industries, including handling e-waste, archive boxes, textiles, and pallets
- Safely manage bins weighing up to 100kg - an ideal role for someone who enjoys physical work
- Use a PDA device to accurately record collections and service tasks
- Complete daily vehicle checks and ensures roadworthiness and cleanliness
- Represent Shred-X professionally on-site, ensuring top-tier customer interaction
- Follow all company policies, WHS standards, chain of responsibility, and client-specific procedures
What You Bring
- A valid Multi Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) truck license with a clean driving history
- Previous experience in a physical driving role (e. g. freight or removalist-style work)
- Safe manual handling skills and physical fitness
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Comfortable with using handheld devices (PDA or similar tech)
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
