The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a current TSPV security clearance to lead the end-to-end scoping of IT Service Management (ITSM) and Asset Management (AM) capabilities within a highly secure environment.

This role will be responsible for engaging stakeholders across the organisation, facilitating discovery workshops and translating business and technical needs into clear, detailed and implementation-ready requirements.

You will map current and future-state processes, identify functional gaps and technical dependencies, and develop a comprehensive Business Requirements Document (BRD) that provides a clear blueprint for the delivery of ITSM and Asset Management capabilities.

The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge of ITSM, Asset Management and ITIL principles, combined with excellent requirements elicitation, process analysis, stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end discovery and requirements gathering for ITSM and Asset Management capabilities.
• Conduct comprehensive stakeholder mapping across business and technology areas.
• Plan and facilitate discovery workshops and requirements elicitation sessions.
• Gather and document detailed business, functional and operational requirements.
• Produce a comprehensive, implementation-ready Business Requirements Document (BRD).
• Document and analyse as-is and to-be processes.
• Identify functional gaps, technical dependencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate complex business and technical needs into clear, structured requirements.
• Establish alignment across business units and key stakeholder groups.
• Maintain requirements traceability and ensure requirements are sufficiently detailed to support implementation.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and SMEs throughout discovery and scoping.

What You'll Need

• Current TSPV security clearance. This is a mandatory requirement.
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within ITSM, Asset Management or enterprise technology environments.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management and Asset Management processes.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL principles and practices.
• Proven experience leading requirements gathering and discovery activities.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements elicitation sessions.
• Demonstrated experience producing detailed, high-quality Business Requirements Documents.
• Strong experience developing as-is and to-be process maps.
• Experience conducting gap analysis and identifying business and technical dependencies.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, implementation-ready documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• ITIL certification or demonstrated practical experience applying ITIL frameworks.
• Experience supporting large-scale ITSM or Asset Management initiatives.
• Experience working across both business and technical delivery teams.
• Experience taking initiatives from early-stage discovery and scoping through to implementation
