As a full time, permanent Solicitor or Senior Solicitor in our Mackay Personal Injury team, that commitment begins with you.

You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference for those who have been wronged while building meaningful relationships with clients during some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with a high level of autonomy, with clear pathways for career progression and exposure to meaningful, impactful work.

While this is a full time role, we are open to considering candidates seeking four days per week.

• Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients seeking compensation.
• Manage a variety of personal injury matters with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
• Deliver clear, tailored legal advice that aligns with each client’s level of understanding.
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients through regular, transparent communication and effective expectation management.
• Prepare and review legal documentation with precision and attention to detail.
• Manage your own file load efficiently, demonstrating strong organisational and commercial awareness.
• Contribute positively to the team environment and provide support to junior colleagues where appropriate.

• What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you’ll have

• A Bachelor of Laws, and a current practising certificate.
• Post-admission experience in Personal Injury.
• A strong understanding of, and ability to interpret the relevant legislation and legal documentation.
• Enjoy working on legally challenging and factually complex matters
• Maturity and confidence to deal with clients in a trauma informed way.
• A desire to be part of a strong, cohesive team that works together to get great results
• An innate ability to question, challenge the status quo and always stay ahead of the pack.
• A commitment to truly connect with those around you and work together to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
