A rare opportunity has become available for a Fishing Reel Technician to join our National Service Centre based in Caringbah. This is a unique chance to build specialist technical skills while working with some of the most recognised products in the fishing industry.
As a Reel Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing fishing reels, while providing high quality support to customers and dealers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and repairing fishing reels
- Diagnosing faults and identifying repair solutions
- Assisting with product information and maintenance advice where possible
- Supporting spare parts and service activities when required
- Preparing reels for sponsored anglers and company associates
- Maintaining accurate service and inventory records
- Contributing to a safe, clean and organised workshop environment
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in how things work
- A passion for fishing and the fishing industry
- The ability to solve problems and work independently
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
No previous reel servicing experience is required. We are happy to train someone with the right attitude, mechanical aptitude and passion for fishing.
