You will be working as part of a small tight-knit team from our modern office here in Frankston with the option of part-time or full-time hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Managing accounting transactions of our external bookkeeping clients
Processing payroll including STP & superannuation compliance
Basic HR administrative tasks
Reconciliation, preparation & lodgement of BAS & IAS
Meeting technical standards & deadlines
Liaising with Accountants for annual accounts & tax queries
Building & maintaining client relationships over time
Managing the accounts receivable/accounts payable function for clients
Demonstrated self-checking skills
REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:
3+ years' solid bookkeeping experience (public practice background desirable, not essential)
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Diploma in Accounting
Must be proficient in Xero & MYOB (Xero certification highly regarded)
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Flexible & adaptable approach
A desire to learn & work collaboratively as an enthusiastic team player
Strong technical & organisational skills
REMUNERATION:
Salary negotiable depending on experience/qualification
Applicants must submit to a Police check & be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and reside in Melbourne
