About the Role
As a Demi Chef, you'll bring creativity and precision to every plate. You will:
- Contribute to the preparation, cooking, and presentation of our exquisite pastry offerings.
- Play a part in designing and developing innovative menus and signature desserts.
- Ensure every creation meets Shangri-La's world‐class standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Support the team in maintaining top‐quality kitchen equipment and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
About You
You're someone who takes pride in their craft and thrives in a fast‐paced, team‐focused environment. You will have:
- A Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
- Full Australian working rights.
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar high‐volume environment.
- A passion for pastry and an eye for detail.
