The opportunity

You’ll work across a broad range of family law matters, helping clients navigate some of life's most challenging circumstances with confidence, compassion and practical legal advice.

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:

• Managing parenting and property matters from initial consultation through to resolution.

• Providing clear, strategic and commercially sensible legal advice.

• Drafting legal correspondence, court documents, consent orders and financial agreements.

• Representing clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings.

• Working collaboratively with our Principal, senior lawyers and support team.

• Building trusted client relationships through excellent communication and client care.

• For experienced applicants, mentoring developing solicitors and contributing to the ongoing growth of the firm.

Who we're looking for

We’re interested in hearing from lawyers who genuinely enjoy family law and take pride in the work they do.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Admission as an Australian legal practitioner and eligibility to practise in Queensland.

• Experience or a demonstrated commitment to practising family law.

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.

• A compassionate, client focused approach balanced with sound professional judgement.

• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and ownership of your work.

• A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to a positive team culture.

• A genuine desire to continue learning, developing and achieving great outcomes.
