Sexual Health Victoria (SHV) is a leading provider of sexual and reproductive health care, education and advocacy. We are seeking an organised, customer-focused professional to join our Education Services team as a Customer Service Officer - Education. This role plays a vital part in supporting the delivery of SHV's education and training programs to schools, community organisations, disability services and health professionals across Victoria.
About the Role
Full time, 12 month fixed term Hybrid role (3 days in office and 2 days WFH).
As the Customer Service Officer - Education, you will be the first point of contact for many of our education clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of education services.
Working closely with educators, stakeholders and internal teams, you will coordinate bookings, manage course registrations, schedule education programs and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality customer service via phone, email and other communication channels
Manage education bookings and enquiries from schools, community organisations and health professionals
Schedule educators and coordinate timetabling to support service delivery
Process registrations, enrolments and course completion certificates
Maintain accurate records, databases and reporting information
Support invoicing, payments and general administrative processes
Coordinate logistics for education sessions, including venues, accommodation, catering and resources
Contribute to the review and improvement of administrative systems and customer communications
Work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure a seamless customer experience
Assist with service reporting, evaluation and continuous improvement activities
About You
You are a highly organised and proactive administrator who enjoys helping others and delivering excellent customer service. You can manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and remain calm when handling sensitive or complex enquiries.
You will bring:
Experience in a customer service and/or administrative role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy environment
Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
Experience working with databases, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and booking systems, student management systems or similar platforms
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams
A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous improvement
Confidence managing customer enquiries professionally and sensitively
Qualifications & Requirements
Qualifications in Business Administration, Education, Sexual Health, Sexology or a related field will be highly regarded
