- About Gaza Ridge Health Centre
The Gaza Ridge Health Centre is located at Bandiana near Wodonga.
The Albury Wodonga Military Area consists of 3 barracks and is home to the Army’s Logistic Training Centre, Joint Logistics Unit Victoria and Schooling in various areas.
This is a large base providing services to over 5,000 Defence Force members.
The health centre provides primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care.
RN led 20-bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7.
The standard operating hours are 07:30 – 15:30 Monday to Friday.
Weekday & weekend on-call shifts equally shared.
- What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members
- Occupational Medicine environment, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount
What You Bring
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner
- FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration
- Minimum two years’ GP experience in the last five years in a GP Setting (GPT counts)
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) - within last 12 months
- Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
- Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
