About Us: Sentinel Property Group is a leading property investment fund with over $2 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM). Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations for investment trusts and property portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and performance reports for investment properties and trusts
- Process investment transactions, including distributions, redemptions, and new investments
- Coordinate property valuations and maintain asset valuation records
- Calculate and process regular unitholder distributions
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis on investment performance and property assets
- Assist with trust establishment documentation and ongoing compliance requirements
- Ensure accurate and timely NAV calculations for investment trusts
- Prepare detailed investment reports for management, unitholders, and trustees
- Reconcile investment accounts and maintain accurate records
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities for investment properties
- Assist with external audit preparations for investment trusts
- Monitor compliance with investment mandate requirements
- Liaise with property managers, external stakeholders, and service providers
- Identify and implement process improvements for investment accounting functions
- Support special projects and financial analysis as required
- Assist with systems implementation and enhancement for investment reporting
Are you someone with?
- Tertiary qualifications in finance and/or accounting
- Previous experience in investment accounting or property trust accounting
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, NetSuite, Tech1, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling capabilities
- Knowledge of property investment structures and trust accounting
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong relationship management capabilities
- Professional presentation and approach
