Are you someone who enjoys getting into the detail, asking the right questions and making sure nothing gets missed?

We're working with a growing WA mining and logistics business, as they progress through a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation.

With the project approaching the final stages of design and sign-off, we're looking for someone who can step in, get across what's been done, identify what's missing and help bring everything together as the project moves into delivery.

This isn't a role where you need to be the most technical person in the room.

We're looking for someone who understands ERP systems, integrations and data, but equally importantly, knows how to engage with stakeholders, challenge thinking constructively and work through the detail to get things right.

  • What you'll be doing
  • Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and external implementation partners to review integration and data requirements.
  • Reviewing existing designs and proposed solutions, identifying gaps, risks and anything that may have been overlooked.
  • Consolidating stakeholder requests, clarifying requirements and helping determine what's needed before final design sign-off.
  • Understanding how data moves between D365 F&O and other business systems, ensuring integrations meet operational needs.
  • Identifying where additional technical input is required and working with internal specialists to resolve issues.
  • Running queries, extracting and analysing data to investigate issues, validate information and support decision-making.
  • Supporting data migration, testing, reconciliation and integration activities as the project progresses.
  • Helping ensure solutions are practical, supportable and aligned with the needs of the business.

What we're looking for

We're open to different backgrounds, but you'll ideally bring a mix of ERP project experience, data understanding and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Experience working on ERP implementations, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • A good understanding of system integrations, data flows and how different business applications connect.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders to gather, review and challenge requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify gaps, investigate issues and work through solutions.
  • Experience running SQL queries, extracting data or working with data migration and validation activities.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with technical specialists and external implementation partners.
  • A proactive, practical approach with the confidence to ask questions and challenge things when they don't look right.

Hands-on experience with D365 integration tools, Azure or data migration technologies would certainly be an advantage, but we're equally interested in someone with strong ERP knowledge, sound technical understanding and the ability to bring people and information together.

What makes this opportunity interesting?

You'll be joining at an important stage of the implementation, with the opportunity to influence decisions before designs are finalised and play a key role in moving the project through to delivery.

You'll have access to internal technical expertise, so you won't be expected to have all the answers.

What matters is your ability to understand the bigger picture, dig into the detail, recognise when something needs further investigation and bring the right people together to resolve it.

If you're someone who enjoys the mix of technology, data, problem-solving and working with people, we'd love to have a conversation.
