The Role
We are seeking a well-organized and self-motivated Project Administrator to join our Mackay Office. The successful applicant must be prepared to become involved in a variety of tasks such as.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Team with general administration requirements.
- Logistics and scheduling.
- Quoting small works
- Assisting with tendering.
- Reporting based on the needs of clients.
- Chairing, minuting, and writing agendas for meetings.
- Liaising with clients and other stakeholders.
- Assisting with monthly OHS reporting requirements.
- General Administration duties, including answering phones and data entry.
- On boarding/mobilization of employees to and from site
- Accounts payable/receivable and general accounts related duties
- Experience with Invoicing & Progress Claims
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will need to have a drive to succeed and a willingness to learn and grow with the business. You will ideally have previous administrative experience, with high-level attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding and respect of deadlines
- Experience in the mining industry in an administration capacity is preferable but not a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic team player
- Well-developed time management and organizational skills
- Intermediate Computer skills, Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of the following systems is desirable but not a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work Effectively within a Team with minimal supervision.
