Key responsibilities
- Support and mentor educators to implement the National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Conduct home visits, monitoring and supervision of educators
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and service policies
- Support educators in maintaining safe and engaging learning environments
- Assist with family enquiries, enrolments and communication
- Recruit, onboard, and train potential educators
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Work on the Service's Self Assessments and Quality Improvement Plan
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Service Manager
About you
- Diploma in Children's Services / Early Childhood Education (minimum)
- Previous experience as a Family Day Care Coordinator or in the early childhood education care sector
- Strong knowledge of National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework and My Time Our Place
- Experience working with families, educators and CALD communities
- Excellent communication, organisational and documentation skills
- Strong computer literacy (experience with Harmony Systems and ComplyCare desirable)
- Working With Children Check and Police Check
- Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Driver's licence and own reliable vehicle (travel allowance provided)
