Take ownership of a growing e Commerce business in the music and entertainment industry.
We are an established Australian business operating across music merchandise, online retail and artist direct-to-consumer (D2C) stores.
We're looking for an experienced e Commerce Lead to manage the day-to-day performance of our online businesses, oversee key operational functions and drive commercial growth.
This is an opportunity for someone who understands how e Commerce works from end to end, enjoys improving performance and knows how to get the best out of people, processes and technology.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll take responsibility for the effective running and commercial performance of our e Commerce channels.
You'll oversee online trading, merchandising, product management, customer service, CRM, campaign delivery and reporting, while identifying opportunities to grow revenue, profitability and customer value.
You won't need to do everything yourself.
You'll manage internal and/or outsourced resources responsible for day-to-day execution, ensuring work is delivered accurately, efficiently and on time.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the day-to-day operation and commercial performance of multiple e Commerce stores.
- Own the online trading calendar across product launches, campaigns, artist releases and key retail moments.
- Oversee product uploads, catalogue management, pricing, merchandising and website presentation.
- Manage customer service performance, including internal or outsourced support resources.
- Coordinate CRM and retention activity, including email, SMS and customer lifecycle campaigns.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue, gross profit, conversion, average order value and repeat purchases.
- Monitor e Commerce performance and turn reporting into practical commercial actions.
- Coordinate website improvements, digital marketing and specialist external partners.
- Work across production, creative, warehousing and logistics teams to ensure successful campaign delivery.
- Manage e Commerce resources, workflows and processes to maintain high standards and accountability.
About You
We're looking for someone with strong e Commerce experience who is ready to take ownership of a broader function.
You'll ideally bring
- Proven experience in e Commerce trading, operations or management.
- Strong Shopify experience or experience with a comparable platform.
- A commercial mindset and understanding of the drivers of online revenue and profitability.
- Experience managing product catalogues, merchandising, customer service and CRM.
- Confidence using data to identify opportunities and make decisions.
- Experience managing internal teams, outsourced resources or external agencies.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Experience in music, entertainment, merchandise or fan-driven retail would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
Why Join Us?
- Work in a creative, fast-moving business connected to music and entertainment.
- Take genuine ownership of an established e Commerce operation with opportunities for growth.
- Enjoy a role that combines commercial decision-making with operational leadership.
- Work across a diverse range of products, campaigns and audiences.
- Have the autonomy to improve processes, develop your team and make a measurable impact.
