Our client is a respected manufacturing company with more than 30 years of experience delivering high-quality products across Australia. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Seamstress to join their team on a permanent basis.
About the Role
You'll be sewing in a manufacturing warehouse located in the heart of Toongabbie – Western Sydney. Only a 5-minute walk from the train station. This is a stable, full-time role with consistent hours and a supportive manufacturing team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Sewing using industrial sewing machines (single needle, overlock, blind hem)
- Working from patterns
- Following daily duties so orders are completed on time
- Measure, cut and shape fabric, and other materials
- Operate sewing machines and equipment safely and efficiently for cutting, stitching
- Follow patterns and drawings to achieve results
- Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet company standards
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience using industrial sewing machines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good spoken English
- Experience sewing fabrics in a commercial or factory environment
- Well organised, reliable and able to manage your time
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
- Basic understanding of materials
- Ability to perform minor repairs
What's on Offer
- $77,500 (including superannuation)
- Monday to Friday 7.00am – 3.00pm
