We are seeking an experienced, hands-on HSEQ Manager to lead and manage health, safety, environment and quality across our electrical construction operations.
Reporting to management, you will take ownership of our HSEQ systems and work closely with project managers, supervisors and site teams to maintain safe workplaces and drive continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage and improve the company's HSEQ systems, policies and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
- Oversee SWMS, risk assessments and project HSEQ plans.
- Lead incident investigations and implement preventative actions.
- Manage inductions, training requirements and competency records.
- Monitor legislative, client and project HSEQ requirements.
- Oversee environmental controls, quality processes and non-conformances.
- Report HSEQ performance to management and provide practical advice to site teams.
- Coordinate external audits and maintain company certifications where applicable.
What you’ll bring:
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety as a minimum.
- Proven experience independently managing HSEQ within construction, electrical contracting or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety requirements and practical risk management.
- The confidence to address unsafe practices and follow issues through to resolution.
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Current driver’s licence and Construction Induction White Card.
- Experience managing systems aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 will be highly regarded.
