Our multi national client is looking for a Customer Service Officer to work within the Administration/Customer service team, in the Chemical industry.
MUST HAVE GOOD EXPERIENCE USING SAP SOFTWARE PROGRAMS, this is not a call centre role.
This frontline position aims to ensure the prompt and efficient response to customers' requests and orders with the objective of exceeding the customers' expectations at all times.
This is an ongoing full time casual role, on site -Monday to Friday 38 hours per week, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role.
Job Description
- Carry out customer service functions of order taking and processing and assisting customers, both internal and external with queries in a prompt and courteous manner;
- Receive phone calls and handle clients/customers questions, queries and/or problems;
- Data entry of information / sales orders;
- Generate purchase orders;
- Follow up on customer payments.
The Successful Applicant will have:
- Excellent working knowledge of SAP
- Proven customer service abilities (not just call centre experience)
- Computer literacy (particularly excel)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Planning and organisation skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and independently
- Enthusiastic and "can do" attitude
- Proven ability to handle pressure
Only applicants that have SAP experience, a minimum of 3 years customer service experience and a stable work history needapply.
You will also be required to request pricing for raw materials and raise purchase orders
To be successful you will have an solid manufacturing industry knowledge and previous demand planning exposure.
