We are an established, family-owned residential building business seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our Sunshine Coast team. Our projects range from simple home designs through to fully customised homes. We are looking for a highly organised, detail-focused professional who takes ownership of the entire construction process, from thorough pre-start preparation through to quality handover.
The Role
- Manage multiple residential construction projects concurrently, ensuring delivery to programme, specification and quality standards.
- Thoroughly review construction plans, specifications and scopes before commencement, identifying potential issues and resolving discrepancies early.
- Develop and maintain accurate construction programmes, coordinating trades, suppliers and critical milestones.
- Undertake regular site inspections and maintain strong quality control throughout construction.
- Proactively identify risks, resolve issues and minimise delays and rework.
- Work closely with estimating, administration, clients, trades and management to ensure clear communication and coordinated delivery.
- Maintain safe, compliant and well-organised building sites.
About You
- Minimum three years’ experience in residential construction supervision, with custom home experience highly regarded.
- Relevant qualifications and appropriate current QBCC licence.
- Proven ability to manage multiple builds across varying levels of complexity.
- Exceptional organisation, forward planning and time management skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to interpret detailed construction documentation.
- High attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship.
- Confident communicator who builds strong relationships with clients, trades and colleagues.
- Proactive, accountable and solutions-focused, with a willingness to work within established systems and continuously improve.
- Competent with construction management software and digital reporting.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
