Kustom Formwork Pty Ltd, a Victorian construction business based in Carrum Downs, is looking for an experienced Accounts & Payroll Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours/week).
Key responsibilities:
- End-to-end payroll processing for 20+ employees
- Accounts payable and receivable processing in Xero
- ATO compliance and reporting (PAYG, STP, BAS/IAS support)
- Payroll tax lodgements and reconciliations
- WorkCover (Victoria) declarations, remuneration returns, and claims coordination
- LeavePlus registrations and returns
- Maintaining accurate employee records, leave balances, and super compliance
- Assisting with month‐end reporting and general accounts duties
What you'll need:
- Minimum 2–3 years' payroll/accounts experience, ideally in construction or a similarly regulated industry
- Solid working knowledge of Victorian payroll tax, WorkCover, and LeavePlus obligations
- Proficient in Xero (essential) – payroll, AP/AR, and reconciliations
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
- Comfortable working autonomously in a small, hands‐on team
- 20 hours/week – days/hours can be discussed to suit the right candidate (e.g., 4 x half days or 3 x full days)
