The Role:
We currently have a position available for a 3rd Year Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician to join our team. This a diverse role which includes looking after a varying range of equipment and sites as well as providing the opportunity to learn or further develop skills in the Building Services – Fire field.
Primary Scope
- To provide maintenance services and repairs of commercial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment.
- Sound communication with customers, staff and supervisors is essential.
- 3rd or 4th year apprentices may apply.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and repairing commercial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment
- Maintenance of commercial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment
- Installation of commercial Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment
- Generating service reports, uploading photo’s and maintenance documents
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and contractors to source parts and plan work schedules
Job Requirements:
- Certificate III Refrigerant and Air Conditioning
- HVAC Contractors license preferred but not essential.
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Australian Citizen/Resident
Experience and competency:
- Strong technical background in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration with proven experience in maintenance and repair.
- Good work ethic and the ability to work alone as well as with other Technicians.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in reporting and use of company software (Uptick)
- Proactive approach to work, organisation of jobs and assessing client needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with other team members, customers, maintenance managers and others.
