We are a busy, established industrial coatings business located in Caloundra West, and we're looking for a reliable, hardworking Factory Hand to join our team. We're looking for someone with a great work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in and get the job done. Previous powder coating experience is an advantage, but not essential. We're happy to train the right person!
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and cleaning aluminium and steel products ready for powder coating
- Loading and unloading products
- Assisting with general workshop and production duties
- Packing and preparing completed orders
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
- Working alongside our experienced powder coating team
This is a hands-on, physically active position, so you'll need to be comfortable with manual work and being on your feet throughout the day.
What we’re looking for:
- Reliable, punctual and ready to work
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of performing general factory duties
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Current driver's licence essential
- Forklift licence an advantage, but not essential
Previous factory, manufacturing, metal preparation or powder coating experience would be great, but attitude and reliability are just as important to us.
