We are currently looking for an experienced warehouse/factory staff member to join our Stair Nosing Department within our flooring distribution facility in Ormeau. This is a casual role suited to a hard-working, take-charge individual seeking growth, with a pathway to a full-time position.
To be successful you will need:
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operating experience preferred.
- Mechanically minded with the ability to learn machine setup and adjustments.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to perform manual handling and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- Forklift license desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available Mon-Fri.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operating and monitoring stair nosing production equipment.
- Loading and unloading flooring planks and materials.
- Assisting with machine setup and changeovers for different product sizes.
- Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Packaging, handling, and preparing finished products for dispatch.
- Following production schedules and work instructions.
- Assisting with general factory duties as required.
Starting at 8am - 1pm Monday - Friday with the possibility of more if needed when busy. This position will suit candidates who have previous experience in warehousing and distribution.
