Your primary responsibility will be to co-ordinate the day-to-day operational and client-facing activities of our well established IT Company. You'll work closely with our technicians, clients and management to ensure enquiries are handled, jobs are progressing, clients are looked after and the business is operating efficiently. Initially, you'll spend time learning our business, getting to know our clients and understanding our systems and processes. As your knowledge and confidence grow, so too will your responsibilities and autonomy. Ultimately, we want someone we can trust to manage the day-to-day operation without every decision needing to come back through the business owner.

- Co-ordinate technician visits, workshop jobs and daily workloads
- Monitor outstanding jobs and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
- Help establish clear priorities and maintain an organised workflow across the team
- Keep clients informed about the progress of their jobs
- Identify potential delays, bottlenecks and operational issues and work with the team to resolve them
- Handle routine operational decisions and issues independently wherever possible
- Monitor completed service tickets and ensure billable work is processed
- Ensure clients are invoiced promptly following completion of work
- Research and organise the purchasing of computer hardware, parts, software licences and peripherals
About you
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to confidently communicate with clients and staff
- A proactive approach and the ability to use your initiative
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- The confidence to take ownership and follow things through to completion
- The ability to manage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- A practical mindset and a willingness to suggest better ways of doing things
- The ability to work independently while being an effective team member
