We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Order Processing Coordinator to join our Customer Service team.
This is a fast-paced role where you'll be responsible for processing customer orders, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring every order is fulfilled accurately and on time.
About the Role
As an Order Processing Coordinator, you will be the key link between our customers, sales team, production, warehouse and transport providers. You'll manage customer orders from entry through to delivery while ensuring customers receive exceptional service every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verify pricing, product details and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with Production and Warehouse to ensure orders are completed on schedule.
- Book freight and coordinate transport with carriers.
- Monitor deliveries and proactively follow up outstanding shipments.
- Obtain and maintain Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
- Investigate delayed or missed deliveries and work with transport providers to resolve issues.
- Keep customers informed of delivery progress and any changes.
- Assist with freight claims, delivery enquiries and order amendments.
- Maintain accurate records within our ERP system and CRM Systems.
- Build strong relationships with customers, transport providers and internal teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve order processing and customer service.
- Participate in daily meetings
- Provide daily reports to management
About You
You are organised, detail-oriented and enjoy ensuring everything runs smoothly.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in order processing, customer service or administration.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution or wholesale environments.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience using ERP systems and CRM systems essential.
