About the Role
As Gaming / Duty Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Seaton Hotel, overseeing our bar, bistro, gaming room and sports bar across a rotating roster of day, evening and weekend shifts.
You’ll lead the team on shift, maintain strong gaming and venue compliance standards, and ensure our guests receive friendly, consistent service every time they visit.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise daily venue operations across the bar, bistro and gaming areas
- Maintain high standards of gaming compliance, including RP, Advanced Gaming and H&L reporting requirements
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reconciliation
- Support, coach and guide team members to deliver consistent and engaging service
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues confidently and professionally
- Maintain high standards of venue presentation, safety and responsible service
- Make sound operational decisions to keep shifts running smoothly
- Contribute to a positive, supportive and team-focused workplace culture
About You
You’re a confident and approachable hospitality leader who stays calm under pressure, enjoys working with people and isn’t afraid to get hands-on when the venue gets busy. You take pride in running a great shift, supporting your team and creating an experience that keeps guests coming back.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Previous hospitality leadership, duty management or supervisory experience
- Current RSA, RP and relevant Gaming qualifications
- Strong knowledge of gaming compliance and day-to-day venue operations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A calm, practical and solutions-focused approach
- The confidence to work autonomously and make sound operational decisions
- Availability across a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays
- A positive attitude, reliable work ethic and genuine commitment to team culture
