With the uncertainty currently being felt across the early childhood sector, you may be wondering what the future looks like for you. Perhaps your service has closed, your position has been affected, or you’re simply questioning how secure your current role really is. Before you consider walking away from early childhood, come and meet us.
We’re a privately owned, family-run business operating two established early learning services, Puzzlez in Padstow and Scribblz in Picnic Point. We’ve been in the sector for many years, and some of our educators have been with us for 5, 10, 15 years and beyond. That stability matters to us.
We’re not looking for people to simply fill gaps in a roster. We’re looking for mature-minded, reliable Certificate III and Diploma-qualified educators who want somewhere they can settle, feel secure and become a valued part of a long-term team.
What you can expect from us:
- Permanent employment and consistent hours, minimum 30 hour contracts, with many of our team working 37.5 hours across five days.
- Above award wages with opportunities for further increases based on experience, contribution and performance.
- No casual educator model, we believe consistency benefits our educators, children and families.
- Educators above ratio, additional team members on the floor to provide greater support and allow educators to focus on quality care and education.
- Hands-on leadership, we’re privately owned and our leaders are present. They know their teams, spend time in the centres and step in to support when needed.
- Work life balance, RDOs, time off in lieu where applicable, early finishes when possible and a three week Christmas closure.
But there are some things about working with us that are difficult to explain in a job advertisement. You really need to come in, meet the team and see the centres for yourself! We know an interview works both ways. We want to learn about you, but we also want you to ask questions, look around and decide whether you can see yourself here. Your next workplace might remind you why you chose early childhood in the first place.
