Apprentice Laboratory Equipment Service Technician - Instrumentation
CREA Laboratory Technologies is seeking an 18+ apprentice to build a long-term career servicing scientific and laboratory equipment. This role is based in Tuggerah NSW and includes progressive supervised travel. First-year travel is limited and always with an experienced Service Technician. Travel increases as skills, confidence and competency develop.
Key responsibilities
- Learn preventative maintenance, inspection, service reporting and instrument checks
- Assist with troubleshooting, parts, service documentation and customer site preparation
- Work with specialised laboratory instruments and manufacturer technical information
- Progress toward approved routine PM work, field travel and eventually field service technician duties
About you
- Enjoys science, electronics, tools, diagnosis and practical problem solving
- Has a current NSW C-class driver licence and is comfortable with future travel
- Patient, careful and safety-focused
- Wants a long-term career, not a short-term job
