Are you a confident, motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, achieving targets and closing deals?
At the Australian Institute of Management (AIM), we're looking for ambitious and results-driven Sales Consultants to join our high-performing Future Skills Sales team.
In this role, you'll connect with prospective students and corporate clients, understand their goals and recommend education and training solutions that help individuals grow their careers and businesses build capability.
Based in our Brisbane CBD office, you'll be part of a fast-paced, supportive sales environment where your drive and results are recognised and rewarded. With a strong pipeline of leads, uncapped earning potential and ongoing coaching and development, you'll have the tools and support to succeed.
There's a bigger purpose behind every conversation. At AIM, we help people build the skills and confidence to be their best. As part of Scentia, our purpose is to enable people to maximise their potential and contribute to a stronger society.
What you’ll be doing
As a Sales Consultant, you’ll take ownership of the sales journey, from the first conversation through to enrolment.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Connecting with prospective customers through inbound and outbound calls, engaging with warm leads and proactively identifying new opportunities.
- Understanding customer needs by asking the right questions, building rapport and identifying their career or professional development goals.
- Recommending the right solutions from AIM’s extensive portfolio of short courses and qualifications.
- Converting opportunities into enrolments through confident, consultative selling and effective follow-up.
- Managing your sales pipeline using our CRM to track opportunities, maintain momentum and maximise conversions.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets while delivering a positive and professional customer experience.
- Building your product knowledge to confidently communicate the value of AIM’s education and training solutions.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who enjoys the pace and energy of a sales environment, takes ownership of their results and is motivated to succeed.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in outbound telesales, phone-based sales or a high-volume sales environment.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to build rapport, influence decisions and close sales.
- A consultative approach, with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Resilience, self-motivation and a positive attitude towards challenges and targets.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
- Experience using a CRM system, ideally Salesforce.
Experience in education, training or professional development is a bonus, but not essential.
