Fletch Collective, a BESIX Watpac company building commercial spaces in Queensland, is recruiting a Contracts Administrator in Brisbane.
The post is full time.
The contracts administrator works with the Project Manager to keep internal cost controls in place.
The role runs trade package tendering from start to finish: putting together the tender documents and the proposed tender list for approval, issuing them, receiving and comparing the returns and submitting a recommendation for approval.
The post holder then prepares the contract documents for each trade package or subcontract and administers the project’s finances through the company’s cost management system.
Each month the administrator prepares consolidated reporting on cash flow forecasts, the status of variations, contractual matters and cost analysis.
The role also handles variation claims, progress claims and other financial matters under both the head contract and the trade package and subcontract agreements.
Candidates need a degree in quantity surveying or construction management, or relevant experience, and must show experience of administering both subcontracts and head contracts on construction or fitout projects.
The posting also asks for the ability to communicate with, influence and build working relationships with people at every level of the business and with outside stakeholders.
A remuneration package is mentioned but no figure is given, and no closing date is published.
