Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking reliable, organised, and experienced casual cooks to support early childhood education and care services across Australia. To be eligible, you must:
- Be willing and able to travel to different childcare centres for shifts.
- Hold a current food safety qualification, such as: Cert IV in Cookery, Food Safety Supervisor Certificate in Hospitality (or equivalent).
- Have experience working as a cook in a childcare or early learning setting and is confident working independently.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of hygiene, food safety, and dietary requirements in childcare environments.
Your Role
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals in line with centre menus and dietary requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment.
- Follow food safety, allergy management, and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with centre staff regarding meals and dietary needs.
- Support centres by working independently and adapting quickly to new environments.
