Save Our Service is currently assisting a centre in Rothwell for a Childcare Cook. Are you passionate about preparing fresh, nutritious and delicious meals for children?
About the role:
- Prepare fresh, healthy and age-appropriate meals and snacks for children
- Cater for dietary requirements, allergies and individual needs
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Plan menus in line with nutritional guidelines
- Work closely with educators and management to support the wellbeing of the children
- Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming kitchen
What we’re looking for:
- Previous cooking experience, ideally within a childcare or similar environment
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Understanding of children's nutritional needs
- Ability to cater for allergies and special dietary requirements
- Reliable, organised and able to work independently
- A positive attitude and genuine care for children and their wellbeing
