Duties & Responsibilities
- Working as part of a small team and being responsible for manufacturing, machining, fitting and assembling, testing parts and components for a variety of equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret documentation and basic detailed drawings.
- Able to keep workshop clean.
- Physically fit.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to work unsupervised and be self-driven.
- Willingness to be diverse and learn new tasks.
- Ability to multitask.
- Fast workmanship and attention to detail.
- Good time management.
Skills and Experience
- This position requires full residential status.
- Must have MIG and TIG Welding Experience (Mild Steel/ Stainless Steel/ Aluminum).
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude.
- Attention to detail and quality a must.
- Organised, proactive and reliable.
- Able to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision.
- Be able to operate manual machines.
- Welding experience.
- Must have own tools.
- Good fitting knowledge.
- Workplace Induction White Card.
- MR Drivers License.
- Confined space trained.
- Forklift License (preferred but not essential).
- Experience operating truck mounted cranes (preferred).
