About the Role
We're looking for a hands‐on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Afternoon Shift Maintenance Team at Lisarow, NSW.
In this role, you'll be right in the thick of it — driving preventative maintenance, keeping critical manufacturing equipment running at peak performance, and ensuring the site hits maximum uptime day after day.
You'll bring a proven track record of delivering results through teamwork, coaching, and leading from the front.
This is a fast‐paced, high‐volume FMCG environment, so you'll need to think on your feet, respond quickly to breakdowns, and juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat.
Key Duties Include
- Take ownership for safe, efficient planning and execution of all maintenance work in MEX each shift.
- Lead by example, with a hands on approach.
- Ensure product quality and system compliance across all maintenance activities.
- Build a high-performing team culture — coach, support, and hold your team accountable to plant programs and standards.
- Partner closely with Operations each shift to ensure production targets are met.
- Identify and drive cost savings, improvements and innovation across the plant.
- Work alongside the Maintenance Planner, Operations Leaders, Contractors, and R&D teams.
- Deliver hands‐on maintenance: preventative maintenance, fitting & machining, general welding, troubleshooting, RCA, repairs and breakdown support.
- Provide shift coverage when required.
About You
- Proactive and passionate about continuous improvement.
- Experience in manufacturing (FMCG experience highly valued).
- TIG or purge welding skills (advantageous but not essential).
- Strong fault-finding and root cause analysis capability.
- A champion for safety and safe work practices.
- A collaborative team player who works well across departments.
- Keen to learn, develop, and help grow the capability of those around you.
