Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and caring Full-Time Catering Officer to join our team.

Previous aged care or commercial kitchen experience is preferred but not essential. We welcome applicants with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a passion for providing quality service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal preparation, cooking and serving.
• Plating meals and ensuring residents receive meals according to their dietary requirements.
• Preparing and serving refreshments.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Working collaboratively with the catering team to provide enjoyable mealtimes for residents.

About You

• Reliable, punctual and well organised.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• Willing to learn and follow food safety procedures.
• Caring and respectful towards older people.
• Flexible to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.

Requirements

• Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Food safety training or a willingness to undertake training, with relevant pre-employment checks as required.
