Sante Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Paediatrician to join the established Women & Children’s Health service at St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital. This is an attractive opportunity for a specialist looking for private practice, VMO work and an excellent lifestyle outside the Brisbane metropolitan area.
The Hospital
St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital is a fully accredited acute private hospital and part of Ramsay Health Care. The hospital is located approximately five minutes from Ipswich CBD and provides a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, maternity and paediatric services. The hospital has 203 licensed beds, a 24-hour Emergency Department, critical care facilities, operating theatres, maternity services and a dedicated Women & Children’s Health Unit, including paediatrics and a Level 2 Special Care Nursery.
The Paediatric Service
The paediatric service provides care for children from birth through to 16 years of age, with experienced paediatric medical and nursing teams. The Dedicated Paediatric Wing includes:
- Modern private paediatric rooms

- Indoor play area
- Dedicated paediatric nursing team

Essential Criteria
- FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification in Paediatrics
- Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for specialist registration
